Ten minutes of waiting, thirty seconds of drinking.
The lab got 5.14 mg/L by following these steps. Everything here is there to keep the hydrogen in the water until it's in you.
Fill to the thread
Any drinkable water, up to the base of the thread. At normal pressure water holds only about 1.6 mg/L of hydrogen; the sealed bottle builds pressure during the cycle so more dissolves, and a small air gap leaves less hydrogen sitting above the water.
210 mLPress twice
Two presses starts the 10-minute cycle. One press is 5 minutes and gives about a third less.
10:00Drink it all, now
Hydrogen starts escaping as soon as the cap is off. Drink the whole bottle within a few minutes.

Timing, water and habits.
Consistency beats timing
Hydrogen isn't caffeine; there's no perfect moment. A regular routine matters more than the hour you choose. Many people drink one bottle in the morning and one or two more through the day.
Don't sip all afternoon
Once the cap is off, the water is holding more hydrogen than it can keep, so the extra starts escaping straight away. In animal studies, hydrogen given in pulses worked better than a constant supply. Nobody has tested sipping versus drinking at once in people, but drinking at once also keeps more hydrogen in the water. Make a fresh cycle each time.
Which water
Tap, filtered, spring or distilled, as long as it's safe to drink. Room temperature is fine. Don't add juice, tea or powders; run the cycle with plain water only.
Before a workout
If you want to try it around exercise, drink it shortly before rather than hours ahead. The level in your blood peaks within minutes.
Charging and cleaning.
Charging
Use the USB-C cable in the box. The display shows battery level and the time left in the current cycle.
Rinse daily
Empty the bottle after use and rinse the reservoir with clean water. Leave the cap off now and then so it can dry.
Keep the membrane wet
The membrane works best when it isn't left dry for long periods. If the bottle has been stored, fill it and let it stand before the first cycle.
Descale now and then
Minerals in tap water can build up on the electrodes and slowly reduce output. Descale regularly as described in the manual, never run a cycle with the bottle empty, and if output ever seems to drop, test it with H2Blue.
Pin-hole in the base
A few drops or tiny bubbles from the base during a cycle are normal: that's where oxygen is vented away from your drinking water. Don't cover it.
For anything not covered here, see the manual in the box or write to info@nordhydrogen.com.
How much doyou actually get?
What you drink is concentration × volume. Work out your daily amount from the lab figures.
From H2 Analytics report H2A-24032601: 210 mL, distilled water, 25 °C, shaken 30 s after the cycle.
How many bottles a day?
Work it out from the lab figures in the dose calculator.
